Joshua Coyle
Board Chair
Josh Coyle is a bioengineer passionate about health equity and Africa’s development. With over four years of experience in digital and global health, he has led the design and clinical evaluation of medical devices, including a low-cost newborn respiratory monitor used in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Emmanuel Knagay
Financial Advisor
Emmanuel Knagay is a strategic finance leader and Deputy CFO at United Bank for Africa (UBA) Liberia, with expertise in corporate finance, regulatory compliance, and financial planning. With an MBA in Corporate Finance and over a decade of experience, he drives operational excellence and supports key financial decisions that shape the bank’s performance and growth.
Chari Perera
Co-Chair
Chari Perera is the former Director of Business Management at Applied Materials, with over 20 years of experience in semiconductor equipment, materials, and global business development. Chari has held leadership roles at Air Liquide, AIXTRON SE, and Phelps Dodge, driving market growth, product launches, and strategic partnerships.
Zechariah Moiseemah

Zechariah Moiseemah is a Liberian attorney, financial controller, and business leader with over a decade of experience in legal practice, public finance, and corporate investigations. He currently serves as General Manager at Africa Investigates Incorporated and Financial Controller at the Law Reform Commission. Zechariah holds an MBA in Public Finance from Cuttington University and a Bachelor’s in Accounting from A.M.E. University.

Jel Dennie Luma is an Entrepreneurship and Environmental Sustainability leader. A Global Scholar, Natalie Taylor Scholar, and SHE CAN Scholar from Liberia, she is passionate about using business as a tool for social and environmental change. Her work focuses on empowering communities through innovation, and green solutions.
Emmanuel G. Godfrey
Founder & Executive Director
Emmanuel Geekor Godfrey is the Founder of the African Impact Institute and a 2025 Schwarzman Scholar from Liberia. A social entrepreneur and global strategist, he leads initiatives that empower youth, promote inclusive development, and shape innovative policy across Africa. Through his nonprofit, Partners for Education – Liberia, he has connected over 4,500 young people to economic opportunities.
Dr. Theresa Inonge Lisita
Advisor on Programs
Dr. Theresa Inonge Lisita is a business education expert dedicated to promoting venture creation and development in Africa. With a Ph.D. in Marketing Management from North-West University, she combines academic excellence with practical experience as a lecturer, consultant, researcher, and board member.
