Dr. Theresa Inonge Lisita

Dr. Theresa Inonge Lisita is a seasoned academic, consultant, and business education professional with a strong passion for advancing Africa’s growth through entrepreneurship, innovation, and strategic education. She currently serves as Programme Manager for the Master of Management Programme (MMP) and Lecturer in Marketing Management and New Venture Creation at the NWU Business School, North-West University, South Africa.

With over a decade of experience in higher education, Dr. Lisita brings a rich blend of academic rigor and practical insight into the fields of marketing, business strategy, international business, and venture development. She earned her Ph.D. in Marketing Management from North-West University, with research focused on customer behavior in mobile banking, demonstrating her forward-thinking approach to business challenges in the digital age.

Dr. Lisita previously served for four years at the African Leadership University (ALU) in Kigali, Rwanda, where she lectured in Entrepreneurship, International Business, and Strategy, and contributed to research ethics governance and curriculum development. She is also a former lecturer in Strategic Management at the University of the Free State and has held research roles supporting business innovation in South Africa.

As a certified trainer and consultant, she has led mentorship, curriculum design, and evaluation initiatives aimed at empowering emerging entrepreneurs and business leaders across the continent. Her board and committee involvement reflect her commitment to excellence, governance, and ethical research in academia.

Dr. Lisita is particularly passionate about shaping Africa’s future through education that equips young people with the skills and mindset to lead innovative ventures.
