Shaping Policy. Informing Progress. Inspiring Change.

"Championing inclusive, evidence-based policymaking rooted in local realities and forward-thinking solutions."

Behind every successful development story lies a foundation of sound, inclusive policy. From job creation to climate action, policies shape the rules, allocate resources, and chart the course for national progress. Yet in Liberia, and across Africa, too many policies are crafted without the voices of those most affected, especially youth and local communities.

At the same time, many young people remain unaware of existing policies or lack the understanding to engage with them meaningfully. This gap limits their ability to influence decisions that directly impact their lives.

At the African Impact Institute, we champion inclusive, evidence-based policymaking rooted in local realities and forward-thinking solutions. We create platforms that connect youth with policymakers and business leaders empowering them to understand policies, evaluate implementation, and investigate real-world impact.

How We Do It

Policy Co-Creation with Government & Institutions
We work side-by-side with policymakers, development agencies, and research institutions to design and implement policies that drive inclusive economic growth and sustainability. From MSME support frameworks to climate resilience strategies, our goal is to ensure policies are practical, data-informed, and community-driven.

Research That Fuels Solutions
We lead and support studies on Liberia’s most pressing development challenges, unemployment, climate change, youth empowerment, and innovation. Our research generates insights that inform public policy, business decisions, and donor priorities.

Youth Policy Education & Civic Engagement

We don’t just shape policy—we equip young people to understand it, engage with it, and influence it. Through workshops, simulations, and training, we’re building a generation of policy-literate youth ready to lead change in government, business, and civil society.

Multi-Stakeholder Dialogues
We host inclusive forums that bring together government officials, youth leaders, entrepreneurs, academics, and civil society to debate, design, and advance effective policy solutions. These dialogues bridge gaps and build consensus for a more collaborative future.

"When policies are grounded in research, shaped by local realities, and inclusive of youth perspectives, they become tools of transformation, not just paperwork."
